What's WEB Performance?
WEB Performance is usually Arnoud Vermei. And if the situation requires, one or more facilitators may be added from the WEB. A shared vision on performance, of people in general and teams in particular, is what unites us. What makes one team so much better than another? Is it a matter of talent, discipline and perseverance? Or is it the strategy, structure and process? These are questions that intrigue us every time again.
The understanding of performance issues requires a broad view. Human Performance Technology (HPT) forms the theoretical basis for understanding performance issues better. From 1993 we serve customers in various sectors.
After dozens of projects involving hundreds of teams patterns emerge. Some things always turn out to be true. For example, a shared ambition drives the necessary cohesion and collaboration in teams. Or that a clear pathway is essential in uncertain environments where everything seems to change at any time. And that the ability to reflect together and learn is perhaps the best predictor of future success of a team.
Who are WEB Performance clients?
We regard every team with the ambition to improve as a potential customer. This ensures we operate in the most diverse sectors: IT, Process Industry, Banks & Insurance, Telecommunications, Energy. Partnering with leading companies such as Shell, IBM, Rabobank and KPN Telecom makes us grateful. Still being in touch with most of them after ten or even twenty years we regard as a compliment.
We believe leaders and professionals almost always own the knowledge and experience to solve performance issues. As facilitators we provide leader and team with appropriate concepts and a positive atmosphere to solve issues themselves.
Performance issues are in a sense always unique and urgent. The people and the context are, after all, never the same, as well as problems affecting the atmosphere, trust, quality and cost.
The shortest and most effective route to improvement is to place the concrete problem on the table together with all stakeholders, and to investigate and resolve the issue. A positive atmosphere to understand and be understood makes learning from each other the default.
As facilitators, we see it as our responsibility to create an atmosphere where people can learn most from understanding and solving a performance issues. This requires hardware and software. The environment, approach and tools are the hardware. Our vision on performance, our positive mindset, and result-oriented facilitation style is the software.

I’m Arnoud Vermei and I facilitate workshops for teams keen to get the best out of themselves. I help leaders to develop a performance climate where ambitions are realized.
In a healthy performance climate teams put the bar high, the path to success is clear and everyone learns from each other. Team members demonstrate trust and commitment and challenge, test and talk to each other on attitudes and behavior.
This creates an open and safe atmosphere where commitment is the norm and achieving goals is the default.
