Performance Assessment

You can easily recognize succesful organizations by their ambition to improve. You can see it, feel it and experience it when connecting with the people in the organization. From the executive levels all the way down to the shopfloor. However succesfull, one question is always nearby: ‘how can we do this faster, smarter, better, cheaper or safer?’


Improving starts with understanding
Faster, smarter or better is not the ultimate goal. Improvements need to be of value. Just like specific physical training is effective for an athlete if it helps him  to perform better. So besides faster and smarter, the key question should be: ‘what can we do to improve performance?’ This question only can be answered if one understands where performance comes from. You need to understand the system where performance is created.


Effective improvement
WEB Performance investigates what can be done to improve performance. Improved performance starts with a good understanding of the system: processes, procedures, goals, information, management and of course, the people. The key question is: ‘what killed performance?’ Understanding the root causes of a performance issue serves as the foundation for effective improvement


Performance assessment
The way WEB Performance investigates a problem is both systemic and systematic. As a starting point we view the organization as a system. The issue at hand is analized in the context of the system. To what extent the work of people, the workprocesses, procedures, performance criteria, information and tools are aligned to fulfil the goals? We observe and analize human performance in the context of the system. A challenging and exciting search made more easy by knowledge (of systems), skills (to analize) and methodology (to investigate effectively)
