WEB facilitates

Facilitate literally means ‘make more easy’. WEB facilitates workshops that help teams to achieve desired results fast, cost effective and collaborative.
We provide leader and team with hardware and software. The environment, the program and the tools are the hardware. We ourselves embody the software: our vision of performance, our positive mindset and our result oriented attitude.

Our thoughts and actions reveal a vision of performance based on some simple and powerful beliefs:

 

Professionals are  the experts
Professionals are the subject matter experts. They are uniquely able to set goals, formulate performance criteria, name constraints, estimate cost and time, and assess quality.

 

Trust is the foundation
Effective leaders rely on the expertise and motivation of the professionals. They act as a coach whose main responsibility is to guide the team and the individual team members in the right direction.

 

Commitment is the tool
Successful teams are committed teams. Leaders act as role models and coach teams and individual team members how to effectively make and manage commitments.

 

Our way of working
WEB facilitates workshops for leader and team at the moments where the performance climate is shaped and experienced. At the start of a new team or a new planning cycle the workshop Ambition and Focus puts all noses in the same direction. In the workshop Plan to Improve the team selects the activities to meet the goals and come closer to reaching the ambition. The workshop Review to Learn enables the team to learn as much as possible from the work they’ve done. And how to apply the lessons to look ahead and update the plan.

 

Our way of working reflects our vision of performance:

 

  • BEFORE             – leader, team and facilitator meet prior to the workshop to create a common understanding of the question and expectations. Together we formulate the desired outcomes of the session and agree to roles and responsibilities during preparation of the workshop.
  • DURING            – facilitator coaches the leader prior to and during the execution of the workshop on his/her role. At the end of the workshop leader, team and facilitator evaluate the session.
  • AFTER               – leader and facilitator evaluate the workshop. The facilitator coaches the leader to effectively manage the commitments made during the workshop

A true annual plan is an improvement plan. Which initiatives will bring us closer to our ambitions? Achieving the goals is the focus. Growing as a team and as individual professionals is the way to go. A true annual plan breathes the flavours of a healthy performance climate: what are we going to do to further improve?

Review to Learn

Plan reviews reflect the performance climate in which a team operates. How focused and sharp is the team when reviewing their own performance? Learning is key. ‘What’ and ‘why’ are more important than ‘who’. The way issues are examined and discussed is as important as the issue itself. And finally, the future is more exciting than the past.
